The mission of the Pre-Veterinary Club is to bring together Gettysburg College students interested in animals and veterinary medicine. The club provides opportunities for students to get hands-on experience with animals, assistance in the veterinary school application process and career hunt, and the opportunity to be exposed to different animal-related volunteer opportunities. Additionally, the club will bring in veterinary and animal-related speakers, as well as veterinary school representatives, in order to provide information to students. The club strives to be a supportive resource for anyone interested in animals, and ultimately, to have fun doing it.

Why be involved?
We are a community, brought together by a love of animals and medicine. The club offers opportunities to be exposed to different fields of veterinary medicine through not only the practitioners themselves, but also the clients in various fields. We offer internships and ride-along opportunities, and both local and world-wide contacts. There are many opportunities for leadership and involvement in the community.

A club is only as strong and as active as it's members allow it to be!
